  Why do soldiers train?   The reason for train ing is to survive on the battlefield.   By investing time and effort, soldiers can survive and protect others.   Why is knowledge learned at universities useless at work for some people?   Some people say that they had to relearn everything when they get a job. Universities are supposed to provide most recent knowledge. But still many people have to relearn new knowledge.   Why is this happening?   The reason is that universities can only provide knowledge which is theories that have been proven.    If unproven, it cannot be knowledge and university cannot teach.   For example, when a company released a smartphone, it is proven to be working as smartphone which is knowledge.   University can teach the knowledge about the smartphone that is released (theorized).   If anything under development, university cannot teach because it is not proven to be working yet.    Companies strive by developing newer version.    However, students only learned proven knowledge that is the past.   And they rarely learn how to develop a new smartp...

  Emotions and brain development   There are two ways for the brain to processes information.    One is with emotions.    When you are in a room with candles lit and loving one waiting, you feel romantic. When someone nags you, you get annoyed and angry.   Processing information with the brain part that deals with emotions is common.    However, education is for learners to process information with logic.    Development of projects, solving problems etc. need to be based on reasoning and logical brain part needs to be developed for these activities.    Therefore, education is to develop logical thinking process rather than emotion.    Processing information with emotions is a common feature of animals’ brains because all animals with brains also process information with emotions.    Development of logical thinking process can hardly be expected once emotion kicked in.   If your day was full of mome...
